The 11th edition of the 4K HDR Summit 2025, the leading international summit on Ultra High Definition and new audiovisual technologies, will be held from November 11 to 14 in Seville. The two in-person days (Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12) will take place at the Auditorio Cartuja —managed by Yventu— in Sevilla TechPark, followed by two virtual sessions on Thursday 13 and Friday 14. More than 70 international experts from 22 countries will discuss the present and future of the audiovisual industry at the only congress that brings together global leaders in technology and content.
As part of the agenda Google Cloud will participate in several key sessions addressing the challenges and opportunities that artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud computing present for the global distribution of high-quality video and live sports events.
AI and Cloud Revolutionize Digital Video
José Ramón Vázquez, Telco & Media Specialist at Google Cloud, will lead the round table “Reinventing High-Quality Video Delivery,” a discussion focused on how AI and cloud technologies are transforming the production, distribution, and viewing experience of digital video. Joined by Remi Beaudouin, Chief Strategy Officer at Ateme, and Javier Lucendo, Senior Manager Video Processing and Delivery at Telefónica, the session will explore how artificial intelligence is optimizing processing, compression, and distribution workflows while enabling new high-quality formats with lower bandwidth and greater energy efficiency.
The talk will also showcase real use cases of technologies, as well as new forms of collaboration between tech platforms, broadcasters, and telecom companies that are shaping the next generation of audiovisual distribution.
Monetizing Live Sports Streaming
In addition, Jatin Dev, Senior Partnership Lead and Global Sellside at Google, will address the challenges of monetizing live and free-to-air sports streaming and the innovations which drive secure and high quality viewing experiences for major sporting events.
